Terms of Service

Effective September 29, 2026.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of GovernedAI, a product of Bootech (“we,” “us,” “GovernedAI”). By creating an account or using GovernedAI, your organization (“you,” “Customer”) agrees to these Terms.

2. The service

GovernedAI is an AI governance system of record: an inventory of AI systems, risk classification, approval workflows, evidence and audit trail, and related governance tooling, offered on Starter, Growth, and Enterprise plans as described on our pricing page.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for your organization’s account, the accuracy of information you provide, and the actions of users you invite. Access is role-based; you control who at your organization has admin, reviewer, or contributor access.

4. Prohibited data: no PHI

GovernedAI is designed to exclude protected health information (PHI). You agree not to submit, upload, or otherwise input PHI into GovernedAI in any field, file, or integration. We do not offer a Business Associate Agreement and do not represent that GovernedAI is a HIPAA-compliant environment for PHI. See our Security & data handling page for more detail.

5. Trial, billing, and auto-renewal

Starter and Growth plans start with a free trial (currently 10 days) that requires a valid payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan converts automatically to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged the price shown at signup for the plan and billing interval you selected. You can cancel at any time from billing settings in the app; canceling during the trial means you are never charged. 6. Plan limits and changes

Each plan has limits (AI systems, users, vendors, storage, and similar) described on the pricing page and enforced in the app. Exceeding a limit blocks creating new items of that type; it never deletes anything you’ve already entered. You may upgrade, downgrade, or add add-ons at any time from billing settings.

7. Data ownership and retention

You own the data you put into GovernedAI. If your subscription is canceled, we retain your organization’s data for a limited period (see the Cancellation & refund policy) to allow you to export it, after which it is deleted.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use GovernedAI to violate applicable law, to attempt to access another organization’s data, to reverse-engineer the service, or to interfere with its operation.

9. Disclaimers

GovernedAI helps you document and evidence your AI governance program; it does not itself determine legal compliance, and using it does not guarantee any particular regulatory or audit outcome. The service is provided “as is” during this draft period, without warranty, pending finalized terms.
